EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Mario Juarez-Infante

CITY MANAGER

Mario Juarez-Infante brings over 24 years of public works, infrastructure engineering, and municipal leadership experience across the U.S.–Mexico border region. He holds a bachelor’s in civil engineering and a master’s in transportation engineering.

As City Manager, he focuses on delivering core capital projects, improving internal operational efficiency, and strengthening bi-national partnerships to enhance public services and quality of life in Sunland Park.

Securing and managing state, federal, and regional grant funds to maximize city resources.

Guiding multi-modal mobility, economic corridors, and bi-national partnership opportunities.

Marco Grajeda

DEPUTY CITY MANAGER

Marco Grajeda has dedicated over 15 years to public service, regional economic development, and border advocacy. A New Mexico State University graduate, he previously served as Executive Director of the New Mexico Border Authority and as a regional director for the U.S. Senate.

As Deputy City Manager, he oversees key municipal initiatives, intergovernmental relations, and administrative projects serving Sunland Park residents.
