The City of Sunland Park invites the community to a public input meeting on the conceptual design of the Rio Grande Flood Control Public Park.

About the Project

The Rio Grande Flood Control Public Park is a new public park in the conceptual design phase. This is the first stage of design, when a park's general layout, uses and overall character are drafted.

Why Your Input Matters

Conceptual design is the best time for the community to weigh in. Decisions made at this stage set the direction for the design work that follows. Comments from residents help the project team understand how people plan to use the park and what matters most to the families who live nearby.

Feedback gathered at this meeting will help inform the conceptual design.

How to Participate

The meeting is open to the public. Think about how you and your family would use a park in this part of the city, and bring those ideas with you. Questions and comments are welcome.
