Public Meeting
Join City of Sunland Park staff and consultants to hear proposed changes to the City's zoning code and to its cannabis ordinance. Staff and consultants will review proposed changes, answer questions, and gather your feedback about these changes.
City staff and stakeholders have developed draft changes to most sections of the zoning code. These changes would make the code easier to navigate and interpret. The new code would be fairer for property owners and easier for City staff to enforce.
The City also proposed combining the current subdivision and zoning provisions into a single chapter of the City's Code of Ordinances.
The City is evaluating possible changes to the current cannabis ordinance. The changes include addition of or changes to the following subsections of the cannabis ordinance:
Staff and consultants will review the proposed Outdoor Cannabis Consumption Lounge Ordinance, discuss key requirements and proposed locations, and gather your feedback before formal consideration.
