Ponding Areas Treated

Larvicide briquettes treat standing water so mosquito larvae can't grow into biting adults. Crews have placed briquettes in the following ponding areas.

Help Stop Mosquitoes at Home

Mosquitoes can breed in just a little bit of standing water. A few minutes a week around your home makes a big difference.

Dump Standing Water

Empty buckets, plant saucers, old tires, kiddie pools, and pet bowls at least once a week.

Clear Gutters and Drains

Keep gutters, drains, and yard low spots clear so water doesn't sit after it rains.

Check Your Screens

Repair holes in window and door screens to keep mosquitoes outside.

Protect Yourself

Use an EPA-registered insect repellent as directed and wear long sleeves outdoors at dawn and dusk.
