Singles play, 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Four brackets of 16 players, three washers per turn, first to 12 points wins. Each bracket winner takes a trophy and $100, and the four winners face off for the champion trophy. Check in by 11:30 AM.Se juega de uno en uno, de 12:00 PM a 7:00 PM. A hole in the ground inside a painted square, a handful of steel washers, and a line to throw from. You take turns tossing. Land inside the square and you score. Sink it in the hole and you score big. First one to the number wins, and the loser hears about it all night.Un hoyo en el suelo dentro de un cuadro pintado, un puño de rondanas de acero y una raya desde donde tirar. Se tira por turnos. Huacha is the game of the carne asada, the quinceañera backyard, and the Sunday after church. It belongs to the border, from Juárez to El Paso to Sunland Park, and every family plays it a little different.La huacha es el juego de la carne asada, del patio en la quinceañera y del domingo después de misa.
