The Dash for Autism is back for its second year in the Meadow Vista area of Sunland Park. Organized by Desert View Elementary and co-sponsored by Gadsden Independent School District and the City of Sunland Park, this 5K and 3.3K run/walk is open to runners, walkers, families and teams of every pace.

Awards and Medals
Overall Trophies
Trophies for the first-place overall male and female 5K runners.
Age-Group Medals
Medals for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female 5K finishers in each age group.
Largest Team Trophy
Round up your class, family, coworkers or club. The largest team takes home a trophy.
Special Kids’ Medals
The first 50 kids who walk with their parents receive a special medal, and kids ages 6 to 10 receive a special medal.

5K Turn-by-Turn
Both courses follow the same streets through Elena Park. After Meadow Vista Blvd., the 5K adds a loop on Edgewood Blvd., Second St., Manzana and First St. before heading back to the school.

How many people can sign up?
Registration is limited to 400 participants, so signing up early is the best way to save your spot.
Do kids have to pay?
No. Kids do not pay the registration fee.
Will there be T-shirts?
Yes. T-shirts go to the first 200 people who register.
Can I sign up with a team?
Yes. Teams and groups can sign up through RunSignup, and the largest team wins a trophy. Join or create a team.
Can I support the event without running?
Yes. Donations are accepted online. Make a donation.
